Dr Ted Piercy

Dentist with advanced training in paediatric dentistry (BSc (Hons), BDS, MSc Paediatric Dentistry)

Ted is a UK-trained dentist who has worked in New Zealand since 2017.

He has a natural ability to connect with children, particularly those who feel anxious or need a little more time and support. He is known for creating a calm, positive experience — even for children who find dental visits difficult.

Early in his career, Ted realised that working with children was what he found most rewarding. There is nothing better than seeing a child leave more confident and at ease than when they arrived.

Ted holds a Master’s degree in Paediatric Dentistry from University College London and focuses his practice on the care of infants, children, and adolescents.

His approach is calm, practical and tailored to each child.

He works closely with families and referring dentists to ensure every child receives the right care in a supportive environment.

Outside of dentistry, Ted enjoys skiing, kayaking, and spending time with his wife and young family.
